Computer Science is my major, and I am quite confident in my choice. When I am working for my company, time does not slowly pass by; and I look forward to going into work. It is not only something at which I am good, but something that seems to come effortlessly to me. I will start working toward just my BS degree; but, I someday hope to make it all the way to my MA. My dream is to someday work for Google’s IT Department, its equivalent, or even have a large scale company of my own. Because of the endless possibilities that this field yields, I am sure that it is the correct choice for me.
I am sure that even though this is my first semester, my addiction to learning will just grow stronger, as it did during high school. The few in my family who have attended college are not just role models, but in a way, they set a bar; which I intend to raise. It is my prior knowledge upon which I will draw in order to keep this upward trend. Work presents driving factors from both ends of the spectrum; what I would like to become, and where I would not like to finish. I feel experiencing them both simultaneously will give me the desire to reach for my goal, a masters in Computer Science.
